Back in October, I went to a few Art Museums in London for research in my new project "Print" which lasts about five weeks. I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum because they had this exhibition on about photography. I was a little iffy about it because the project is about re-modernising classic prints, I thought..."how is going to a photography exhibition going to help me?" How wrong was I. It was really amazing and so inspiring, I think this just may have widened my interest in photography :). It was so creative how these contemporary artists created photography without using a camera. All the photographs were very impressive. I thought using the pin-hole was good, but photogram is more impressive. My favourites were by Susan Degres, Adam Fuss and Garry Fabian Miller. I took some pictures whilst I was there...when I was not allowed to, haha. Oh well, what they don't know won't hurt them, lol.

A Canon SLR camera is calling my name. I had a dream about it...twice! How weird and strange. Dreaming about a camera *shakes head* Now I'm not torn between a Canon and a Nikon anymore :D

Sightseeing at North Greenwich

Here, I took some pictures at North Greenwich before heading to one of the days at Freshers in the o2, so I was technically being a tourist to pass the time. The first picture is of my Uni. Everytime I get off at the Tube Station I like staring at it, I think its a very...interesting looking building, just check out those shapes and patterns! Very retro :) I like that it's right next to the o2 Arena but...I see where all my money is going (concerts and food!). The second picture is of my Uni inside. Whilst I took a snap of it, I was standing on top of the stairs, my friend pointed out that it looks like a cheese! Haha. I have to agree, it's a funny lookng cheese building. I edited it, so now it looks out of space in Galaxy or something. The second to last picture is of the o2 - it looks so much better at night time than during the day time. The last one I took whilst I was sitting by these waterfall walls with my friend and I saw the water was covered with these autumn leaves in dim lighting underneath the water. I had to take a shot :).

Hello, I come in Blog :)

Hello there...whoever is reading (if not, then...I guess I'll be talking to myself then).
For some time I just thought to myself "I want a Blog account." Recently I started to read quite a few Blogs and I do find them inspiring to read, I really like reading fashion blogs (but I just like reading any Blogs in general). I've just started the first year of my Fashion & Textiles Degree at Uni, so I thought it would be a good idea to start one, to show...sort of my journey in my degree such as the highs and the lows (stress & nervous breakdown, I know I am going to get tons of those) and also to view the progress of my work in those three years, like how I've gone from "this to that," leading up to graduating (if I survive that far! Which I hope). It will be like a reflective Blog. I'll be uploading some pictures of my work in progress and places I've been to.
